New Haven Lawn Club Wedding

Last May we worked on a romantic wedding held at the New Haven Lawn Club. I have shared my own pictures from this event but I just received Cynthia Brown’s gorgeous images from the event and had to relive this gorgeous day once more!

The Bride, Libby, and her mom collected beautiful cut glass cakestands in all different shapes and sizes and they were topped with floral arrangements and scattered throughout the New Haven Lawn Club. The result was super romantic and elegant. Peonies, Garden Roses, Spray Roses, Dusty Miller, Ranunculus and other Spring blooms filled the ballroom!

Ceremony Decor

With so many bride and grooms opting to get married outside the church, making a unique ceremony area has become an important part of the decor. Simple and understated has been the style trend of our bride’s from this past season.

Jonathan Edwards Winery Fall Wedding

In late September we worked with Candice of Jubilee Events, Robert and Kathleen Photographers, A Thyme to Cook, beauty by Jennie Fresa and Sperry Tents to create this gorgeous Fall wedding at Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington. The bride and groom went outside of the box with their Fall inspired color scheme choosing a vibrant Orange, Blue and Green combination which made for some striking decor!

Bridal Bouquets!

This past season was a season of color! Almost all my brides strayed from the traditional white and ivory bridal bouquet and chose to carry a bouquet featuring shades of their wedding colors, both bright and muted. Here are a few of my favorites…

Vintage Blush and White Spring Wedding

Cameron and Josh were married last June at the beautiful Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown. We collaborated with the talented Jubilee Events on the design of this event. This wedding was the perfect combination of vintage charm and elegance. The bride collected over one hundred pieces of milk glass which we filled with spring blooms in shades of white and blush pink. They were scattered throughout the mansion on guests’ tables, mantels, placecard tables, and other nooks and crannies throughout the venue. The bride carried a romantic lush Peony bouquet in shades of blush pink and white with Lamb’s Ear tucked in. These gorgeous photographs were taken by Charlotte Jenks Lewis…
