Last weekend we designed a garden style wedding at Eolia Mansion featuring long tables lined with an eclectic mix of vessels: black garden urns, silver mercury glass, milk glass, pewter, silver and brass vintage pieces, etc. filled with bright colored lush blooms of Garden Roses, Peonies, Maidenhair Fern, trailing vines and other seasonal blooms. Here are a few of our own snapshots from the event…
This past weekend we designed the flowers for a waterfront wedding at a private residence in Stony Creek. The Bride and Groom could not have asked for a more perfect day, blue skies and a nice breeze with a gorgeous view of the Thimble Islands! The style of the wedding was romantic with a clean, fresh feel.
The ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the L.I. Sound. The simple romantic chuppah featured blush pink Peony clusters with dupioni ribbon streamers in each corner under a ivory linen cloth…
Last May we worked on a romantic wedding held at the New Haven Lawn Club. I have shared my own pictures from this event but I just received Cynthia Brown’s gorgeous images from the event and had to relive this gorgeous day once more!
The Bride, Libby, and her mom collected beautiful cut glass cakestands in all different shapes and sizes and they were topped with floral arrangements and scattered throughout the New Haven Lawn Club. The result was super romantic and elegant. Peonies, Garden Roses, Spray Roses, Dusty Miller, Ranunculus and other Spring blooms filled the ballroom!
We setup this tablescape on the lawn at the beautiful RoseCliff Mansion in Newport, RI in the sweltering heat one afternoon in June. This Hot Pink and Black tablescape featured Hot Pink Peonies, Schwarzwalder Calla Lilies and Black curled Aspidistra Leaves in high gloss black vases, the gorgeous stationary was designed by Nicole of Coral Pheasant, rentals provided by Luxe Rentals & Decor and Party Rental Ltd. and photographed by M. This past Saturday we designed a pink and white wedding at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown. Candice and her talented team at Jubilee Events coordinated the beautiful event. The bride and groom’s milk glass collection was filled and scattered throughout the mansion and cocktail area. The stunningly simple cake (one of the prettiest I’ve seen) was made by Felicia’s Sweetface Pastry Shoppe I only had time to snap a few pictures, but will post more of this gorgeous bride and groom and the event as soon as I get some professional pics!
