New Haven Lawn Club Whimsical Wedding

This past May we designed the flowers for a fun and whimsical wedding featuring pinks, mint greens and golds, with accents of succulents, gorgeous papergoods and even balloons! This wedding was designed by Candice and her team at Jubilee Events, papergoods were created by Coral Pheasant,  and photographed by the super talented Robert and Kathleen. Fun details were everywhere from the cocktail hour to the gorgeous reception.

Peonies were the star of the day as this wedding fell right at the peak of their season.

Cocktail hour and reception took place at the New Haven Lawn Club. Their Black and white Marble floors combined with a ceiling filled with white balloons set the stage for a fun party atmosphere. The cocktail hour featured Kraft boxes filled with succulents gorgeously handpainted with whimsical sayings by my mom, Barb, who besides being the most creative person I know is also the queen of boutonnieres and corsages and a regular floral designer in my studio!

The placecard table featured a stunning gold sequin linen with a bed of blush pink carnations which held the placecards.

The Ballroom featured a mix of high and low centerpieces. The tall centerpieces were simple and elegant featuring a collar of Hydrangea with tall lush bundles of pale pink Larkspur.
