There is no better feeling than standing back and taking in all the beauty of a wedding after months of brainstorming, client meetings, a full week of designing and hours of setup. It is one of the most rewarding feelings and the reason why I love what I do! But to relive it again through gorgeous pictures from Justin & Mary and then to find out it was featured in the Style Me Pretty 2013 Fashion and Beauty E-Mag is the the ultimate honor!
This gorgeous wedding was the epitome of romance: castle-like mansion setting overlooking the water, blush pink peonies and white lilacs everywhere, headwreaths on all the girls, silver and gold accents, candelabras, sequins and a stunning bride and groom, doesn’t get much better than this!
This wedding took place at the Branford House in mid-May. It was right at the height of Spring flowers: Ranunculus, Lilacs, Peonies, Sweet Peas, Tulips, flowering branches and Azaleas were seen throughout the wedding. The bride wore a sweet head piece of all Spray and Tea Roses and all the bridesmaids wore ethereal Baby’s Breath head pieces.
Overflowing mercury glass vases of Peonies, Lilacs, Sweet Peas, Ranunculus, Garden Roses, Tulips, Jasmine Vines sat on Ivory silk linens, silver urns were filled with Azaleas and other other flowering branches and placed throughout the mansion. The placecard table featured a stunning gold sequin linen topped with a branched flower and Hydrangea arrangement with placecards each hand stamped by the bride. The enormous mantel featured Hydrangea, Peonies and other Spring blooms, Mercury Glass candles and long crystal strands provided by the bride were added for more drama.
