Last July we designed the flowers for my cousin Christine and her fiance Andrew’s wedding at the gorgeous Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, Rhode Island. They wanted the decor to feel natural and casual with a summer party feel. There was no set color scheme, we just utilized what was in season and looking beautiful the weekend of her wedding. Zinnias, Dahlias, Garden Roses, Chamomile, herbs and other Summer blooms were used throughout lots sourced from local vendors at the Farmer’s market. Gorgeous photographs by Mandy Mayberry of Newport.
Last minute rain showers forced the ceremony to be in the barn, but it was so gorgeous no one would know it was plan B!
The sun came out just in time for the reception giving perfect views across the bay to the Newport Bridge.
Couldn’t resist putting in this picture of my Gram who’s peach blouse matched the decor perfectly!
Grey Slate containers were filled with mixed arrangements of vibrant summer blooms, each slightly different from the next. Our grey tin table numbers with white hand painted numbers were the perfect match for the tables.
