This past August we designed the flowers for a romantic peach, blush pink and champagne wedding on the banks of the CT River planned by Sarah Taggart of A Polished Plan . The gorgeous ceremony was at the Groom’s parent’s home and the reception took place at the Dauntless Club in Essex, which has to have one of the most beautiful views for a wedding in CT! Emily Tebbett’s captured the whole day beautifully! Social Décor created a gorgeous wooden arch which we decorated with Eucalyptus, Dahlias, Garden Roses and Pepperberries. Simple aisle decorations consisted of gray pails hanging from shepherd’s hooks filled with local seasonal blooms. A Sperry Tent donned the lawn at the Dauntless Club with Social Decor’s beautiful chandeliers which we accented with Eucalyptus. A mix of Farm tables and Square tables filled the tent with beautiful watercolor calligraphy and signs made by Karri-Lee Designs used throughout the tent and reception. Farm tables featured a mix of lush arrangements featuring Café Au Lait Dahlias, Garden Roses, Queen Anne’s Lace, Ranunculus and other late Summer blooms in long zinc containers flanked by pillar candles and bottles filled with single blooms. Round tables featured a low square wooden box filled with lush arrangements of Garden Roses, Stock, Eucalyptus, Ranunculus, Queen Anne’s Lace and other romantic flowers. A Thyme to Cook catered the affair with their delicious food including a yummy ‘Shortcake Bar’.
